Pokémon fans rejoice! 7-Eleven - a popular convenience store chain that's now celebrating 40 years of operations in the Philippines - is now offering more ways for you to enjoy your favorite monster collecting game/s! Not only can you enjoy 7-Eleven snacks in nice Pokémon themed packaging, you can also catch up on your Pokémon Go games in the stores and even buy some Pokémon Card Game booster packs. Lastly, three 7-Eleven stores - Quezon City, Makati, and Cebu - will feature a Pokémon themed store for all to enjoy and get in the mood for catching the pocket monsters. The 7-Eleven and Pokémon partnership comes in a few parts:
- Pokémon-Themed Stores - There will be three 7-Eleven stores with a Pokémon theme, first being the Centris 1 branch in Quezon City, next will be the Arnaiz Avenue branch in Makati, and then last but not least the St. Theresa Casa Rosario branch in Cebu.
- Pokémon-Packaged Snacks - Favorite snack food from the convenience store will have Pokémon packaging. It will be available initially in 7-Eleven Luzon stores, but will reach the rest of the Philippines in October. The themed packaging includes:
- Crunch Time (Chicken) - Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur packaging
- Siopao - Pikachu and Snorlax packaging
- Big Bite (Hotdog) - Meowth packaging
- Fundae - Jigglypuff packaging
- GULP - Gyarados packaging
- City Cafe Cups - Eevee, Flareon, and Jolteon packaging for small, medium and large cups
- Prima - Umbreon packaging
- Pokémon Trading Card Booster Packs & Limited 7-Eleven Pokémon Promo Card - Currently 1,500 7-Eleven stores nationwide will offer Stellar Crown Booster Packs for the Pokémon Trading Card game priced at PHP 259. For buying a booster pack, you'll also receive a limited edition 7-Eleven Pokémon Promo Card, featuring Lapras - great for adding into your unique card collection!
- Finally, all Pokémon GO players will rejoice because now they can use their favorite 7-Eleven store to hang out and play Pokémon GO! All 7-Eleven stores nationwide will be turned into either a PokéStop or a Gym. So you can battle and collect Pokéballs all while chilling with your favorite 7-Eleven Snacks!
