TCL Brings Unique ePaper-like Phones To The PH - TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra & NXTPAPER 70 Pro

2026 is definitely the year for changing up the boring slab and foldables in the smartphone market. We've seen this with the popularity of the wider Samsung Z Fold 8. Today, TCL brings back their smartphone line to the Philippines with something unique to entice consumers: an ePaper-like, 0 glare display for way less eye strain and way better reading experience.

Headed with the NXTPAPER 70 Pro and the NXTPAPER 70 Ultra, these phones come with big paper-like displays, 50MP cameras, and in our opinion quite competitive pricing too.

The flagship model in the Philippines is the TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra. It's got a whopping 7.2" 120Hz NXTPAPER display, its IP68 dust and waterproof, powered by a Dimensity 7400 processor, and has a 50MP main camera, 50MP 3x telephoto, and 8MP ultrawide in the back. It even comes with a case and an accurate stylus in the box.

Next model is a more affordable variant, but still has the Paper-like display - the NXTPAPER 70 Pro. It's powered by a Dimensity 7300, loses the 3x zoom lens, has less storage, but still retains IP68 resistance, T-Pen capability (not included), and a 6.9" 120Hz display for around PHP 10k less money. Bonus, it has a MicroSD slot for expanding the storage.

Both the NXTPAPERS are actually quite interesting in today's smartphone landscape. Given the high quality paper-like displays, they would be great for reading books, and even just lowering eye strain while doing normal social media tasks. It wouldn't be any slouch for media consumption either, given TCL's known for their high quality displays from their TVs.

If you're on the lookout for a paper-like display phone, with decent specs, stylus pen capabilities, and a low price. Go check these guys out!
